About
Ótio Officina was born in the Czech Republic and took physical form in Sri Lanka, where our approach to slow, intentional craft began. Today we hand-make small-batch incense sticks, along with ceramics and textile pieces that accompany rituals and quiet moments. Many of our botanicals come from our own Mediterranean garden or growers we trust. Our collaboration with Sri Lankan artisans continues, supporting their charitable community work. At the heart of Ótio lies slowness, authenticity, and the beauty of honest craftsmanship.
About Tereza
Tereza sees the world through scent — a doorway into memory. This instinct led her to Sri Lanka, where she learned the rhythm of slow craft among oils, smoke and patient hands. The first spark of Ótio began there. Naturally dynamic, she learned to follow a quieter pace, letting incense, ceramics and ritual objects grow in their own time. Today her world balances movement and stillness — yoga, meditation, seasonal rituals and the gentle shaping of matter. Ótio is where these threads meet, where scent becomes memory and time becomes material.
About Dušan
Dušan is the quiet steadying force within Ótio — the calm presence that helps ideas settle and take form. While Tereza moves with natural dynamism, he brings clarity and balance. A multidisciplinary maker, he shifts between tattooing, drawing, designing and building with intuitive ease. His precise, grounded creativity gently supports the world of Ótio.
